Right Wing Fanatics Don't Like The Lancet Study Of 600,00 Iraqi Civilian Deaths

Okay. So, it's the same guys ... and looks to me like they used the same flawed methodology. How much did they allow for hear-say in the households involved, how many households reported deaths for each other thus doing double and triple tallies, and did the researchers extrapolate beyond places like Fallujah and Ramadi? What's the matter with physically counting graves, anyway?

The other question I'd just love to have somebody ask is: "How many Iraqi's have died to deliberately write bloody headlines for the New York Times ...?"

Hat tip to Crooks and Liars for the link to the blog Once Upon A Time for documenting this insanity and the completely right on the money response to it which I recommend you read.

I have just started to watch on dvd the first season of the HBO series Rome and it seems as if some of our fellow "citizens" would feel much more at home in that place and time. Brutality and lack of compassion were "virtues" then.

There are some really, really sick people out there who are so fanatical in their ideology that it truly is hard to fathom what the world must look like to them.

They simply have no heart or soul of any kind and in my opinion are barely human. The person who wrote what is quoted above is one of them.
