80's Video Clip Week: Missing Persons - Words

A sort of hard rocking new wave band Missing Persons was fronted by singer Dale Bozzio with the band start off strong but they didn't last more than a few albums. Founder and Drummer Terry Bozzio was a veteran of Frank Zappa's band as was guitarist Warren Cuccurullo who would eventually become a member of Duran Duran after Missing Persons disintegrated, bassist Patrick O'Hearn would go on to become an electronic "new age" music star on the Private Music label. Dale looked good in videos which certainly helped them, plus they had some good songs.
